The mural Peace of Art (2025) by Katrín Inga, artist and founder of Phenomenon, plays with language while reflecting on the importance of having a safe space to create. Inspired by the experience of working in the studio, the piece highlights how Phenomenon art studios serve not only artists but also the wider community. Next up in gallery Phenomenon Art Pause (Kúnstpása) a project in collaboration with psychiatric department of National Hospital (Landspítali). The project goal is to integrates mental rehabilitation with creative arts. We will open our gallery with the outcome of 2 weeks art studio residency on the 25th of September.
